What the free account gives you
Radar and map
The gyms, trainers and gym-goers near you, on the radar. There's a map as well.
Search and follow
Search for gyms and trainers, and follow them to see what they post.
Swipes
20 a day to find someone to train with. Match with someone and you can message them as much as you like.
Messages
5 a day to people who aren't your friends or matches. Unlimited with friends and matches.
Ghost mode
Turn off Show me on Radar to drop off the radar for a while. What it hides, and what it doesn't, is below.
Daily limits reset at midnight UK time.
What others can see
Roughly how far away you are, like "1 to 2 miles". Never your exact position.
What ghost mode does and doesn't do
Turn off Show me on Radar and you're hidden from the radar, the People list and name search. Your matches stay, and you can still see other people.
It doesn't hide you everywhere, and your rough area is still stored. The privacy policy has the detail.
If someone's a problem
Block
They can't message you, send you a friend request or see your check-ins, and you drop off each other's radar.
Report
You can report a person, a post, a message or a gym in the app. A person looks at every report, and we aim to deal with reports within 24 hours.
Looking for a personal trainer?
Trainers near you show up on the radar and in search. A verified badge means they sent us their documents and we approved them.
Premium, if you want more
£4.99 a month for unlimited swipes, unlimited messages and a look at who viewed your profile.
The radar is only as busy as the people on it.
Muscle Radar is new, so your area might look quiet at first. Once it's out, you can change that. Open it when you're at the gym, bring your training partner, and if your gym isn't listed, tap Can't find your gym? Add it.
